"Spirit of the Bees" is a watercolor artwork painted during Summer 2021, while living in a meditation center in Sutton, Qc, Canada.
I painted this artwork for "Happy Culture Inc", a local business that focuses on the benefits of apitherapy products.
It features many local plants such as Dandelion, Sunflower, Elderflowers, Damask Rose and Hundred-leaved Rose, Lavander, Daisies, Cone flower (Echinacea) and Apple Tree blossom.
Its creation process was for me an active immersion into the world of bees and flowers, as I was even consuming apitherapy products daily ("Apicocktail" with fresh bee pollen, propolis, raw honey and royal gelly) as well as making myself some local wildflower infusions to support the inspiration.

They are the daughters of Venus,
and they work in the arms of the Sun.
Little angels, kissing the hearts of flowers.
Bathed in the perfumes of grace, gathering nectar and pollen,
to nourish their hive—and the world.

The bees understood the true meaning of love before we did,
structuring their labor
into a flawless masterpiece.
They never destroy anything, but instead create new life
by pollinating flowers
that may then become
the fruits and seeds of tomorrow.

The Bee is such a great teacher
of what true Beauty is,
she embodies the symbolism of spiritual work.
Her hive is such a perfect image
of a humanity living in divine harmony
with the laws of Life.
